Hi! Welcome to our journey. We are Darren & Beth Mellott. Darren - bread winner, support system and encourager extraordinaire & Beth– wife, mother and homeschool teacher.
BC (before children) I, Beth, was a waitress, a receptionist and a computer programmer;
but my favorite career - by far - is as a homeschooling mom! With twenty-three

but my favorite career - by far - is as a homeschooling mom! With twenty-three years of homeschooling experience, I have had the opportunity to try a plethora of curriculum and I keep coming back to field trips and unit studies. They are my passion - surpassed only by the opportunity to encourage other parents on this wild, wonderful, and exciting journey we call homeschooling.

Our hearts' desire is to encourage you and walk beside you during those hard times so that you can experience more "victory days."

To that end, we share our struggles, our victories, and our curriculum that was birthed out of 23 years of homeschooling.
We strive to save you time and energy by providing curriculum you can trust. Suggested reading lists have been researched for wholesome content, online links have been vetted so there are no unwelcome surprises. All curriculum has been kid-tested and kid-approved!
